Based near Exeter , RJB Business Improvement Associates was formed in 2003 by Ralph Bingham with the aim of providing a first class training and facilitation service to businesses located in the South West of England.

Limited Company status was established in July 2008 with Ralph Bingham as Director.

RJB Business Improvement Ltd has links with SWMAS (South West Manufacturing Advisory Service) and a well respected international consultancy company called "Thinkflow"and can call upon their resources if they are required.

With over 35 years experience in manufacturing industry, 10 of which have been spent as an ¨improvement leader¨ working for a major international corporation. Ralph has a proven track record in training, facilitation and implementation of ¨lean manufacturing methodology¨and continuous improvement concepts.

Ralph also has considerable direct management experience, having run a number of large departments within a major manufacturing company, therefore is well aware of the "people issues" associated with implementing change.

Immediately prior to setting up his own business, Ralph had spent time as a key member of a specialist team responsible for training and coaching senior management (up to Vice-President levels) in the introduction and implementation of TPS (Toyota Production System) manufacturing principles, in manufacturing plants sited in the UK, France, Japan and the USA.

This knowledge and first hand experience in overcoming the difficulties faced when trying to change mindsets and implement ¨new¨ ideas is now available to businesses in the South West.

Recently, Ralph has lead a factory design and layout team at Rolls Royce in Filton, focusing on the building of a new state of the art multi-million pound turbine casting foundry.

He was also one of the keynote speakers at the 2006 Australasian Foundry Conference in Rotorua NZ.
